MN Engagement Photography
This gallery of Minneapolis engagement photography shows numerous examples of the wide variety of engagement sessions I have been honored to photograph. You will see gorgeous portraits of engaged couples hiking in the woods, playing with their dogs, riding in horses and carriages, sitting in a Ferrari, strolling through gardens, enjoying fresh snow, and other moments full of laughter and love.
You will see dozens of images in my engagement photographer gallery. This number barely scratches the surface of the photographs from the numerous sessions I have photographed. Each engagement session I photograph includes dozens of final, edited, polished images for each couple, so narrowing down to just a few dozen or so in this gallery is rather difficult to do! I have chosen to show these images as I feel they highlight my versatility as an engagement photographer.

If you want to feel more comfortable in front of a camera, it would help to get some practice. An engagement session is the perfect opportunity. Engagement sessions last around 1-2 hours, depending on the location and/or activity you’ve chosen. We generally work in the last two hours before sunset when outdoors, or almost any time when indoors. I want to help create a memorable experience that works best for you. So please don’t hesitate to ask if you have suggestions or ideas in mind.
As an added benefit, the photos we capture from your engagement session are also perfect for Save-the-Date announcements, Guest Books, Engagement Albums or Gift Prints. They are often cherished by couples simply because they showcase the two of you spending time together, often doing an activity you enjoy, without the formality of wedding day activities, wardrobes, locations and timelines.

Selecting locations or activities that are meaningful and important to you will almost always result in better images. Think about how you like to spend time together and activities you both enjoy when considering options. Some location ideas include: a park or garden that is a favorite hangout; a beer brewery or winery; an art museum; the college campus where you met; on a rented trolley, car, canoe or boat; a fair or carnival with rides; a picnic in a park or near a river; a barn; a bowling alley; an antique store; a skating rink (summer or winter); a playground; or a baseball field.
Many people also love to visit destinations such as: the classic Minneapolis Stone Arch Bridge, Mill Ruins Park and Mill City Museum; the stunning St Paul Como Park Conservatory; the spectacular Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassan; and the wild nature of the Three Rivers Regional Parks such asBryant Lake Regional Park in Eden Prairie or Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan.
