Today I would like to highlight the latest addition to my album lineup – gorgeous luxury engagement albums from Graphistudio! Graphistudio is one of the longest-running and most prestigious wedding album manufacturers in the world, with their founding in 1982 in Italy. Even today, the albums are still made at their headquarters just outside of Venice, Italy. Many of the top wedding photographers in the world use Graphi to create their albums. Luckily the US headquarters is right here in Minneapolis!
I’m going to highlight two albums for you – one shows an example of a traditional engagement album, and the other shows an example of one of my newer, also very popular options, an engagement guestbook.
The first few images show my two album examples together in various sizes. The albums come with their own protective box, with numerous color options, along with a crystal clear magnetic cover. The front cover imagery is completely customizable – we can use any photo or illustration/design choice possible.
The next few images highlight my traditional engagement albums. In this example, I chose a photo cover on the front with material colors that reflect the image. Inside I used numerous images from the engagement session as an overall highlight of the entire session. The album uses professional photographic paper printed on the entire spread, then bound together with Graphi’s patented lay-flat technology. I also use a satin coating on the paper to protect against fingerprints and marks.
And last, these images show an example of an engagement guestbook. An engagement guestbook uses the images from the engagement session as a traditional album would do, however I also incorporate additional space around the images and across the spreads to accommodate well-wishes and writing from the guests at the wedding. Due to the carnival theme of this session, I chose to use an illustration and album colors to reflect that theme. Then I used numerous images from the session with the additional space needed for writing.
Feel free to visit my St Paul studio in the near future to take a look at these and other album samples I have. I’d love to meet you soon!
