Tara + Steve wanted a small, intimate wedding with their closest family and friends. They planned an amazing Como Park Conservatory and Nicollet Island Inn wedding day. Their mid-winter event was full of laughter, tears, beauty and joy!
We started their Minneapolis wedding photography with preparations at Nicollet Island Inn. The L’toile Suite was a gorgeous backdrop for the two of them to prepare for one of the biggest days of their lives. Once they were ready to go, we held a quick First Look in the gorgeous lobby of the hotel under their spectacular crystal chandalier.
From there, we headed over to the Como Park Conservatory. This is a personal favorite venue of mine as my husband and I were married here too! As usual, the Conservatory was simply gorgeous with its late winter floral display. Tara + Steve’s ceremony was full of love – and so many tears of joy! Afterward we organized a few posed groupings, then had a bit of time right before sunset to capture images of the two of them alone in the gorgeous florals and greenery of the Conservatory. I always love photographing here – it’s simply amazing!
After Tara + Steve’s ceremony, we headed back to Nicollet Island Inn for their reception. They held a quick cake-cutting, then headed over to their champaign toast and celebrations in the lounge. They ended the evening with dinner in the gorgeous private dining room with their closest family and friends. Such a spectacular, intimate wedding day!
Tara + Steve, thank you so much for including me on your beautiful Como Park Conservatory and Nicollet Island Inn wedding day. I am so happy for the two of you as you begin your new lives together!
